Kylie Nelson grew up with a powerhouse talent and a strong affliction for the emotion of blues and deep soul. Her father a cowboy; her mother a hippie, she found her freedom in music. Paralyzed by depression and self-doubt, Kylie needed to be broken down before she could rebuild herself into the artist that stands before us today. She spent years in radio, lost in a sea of top 40 & local artists, just waiting for her ”big break” like a scene of a 90’s movie. Heartbreak and an opportunity to create her own Artist Showcase at Seattle's Showbox SoDo in only 23 days, with no band or having ever written a song in her life, gave her the challenge to finally take the stage and show what she was made of. “I said to myself, if I die tonight I know I gave every ounce of myself to every single person in that room.” With a standing ovation from the crowd, Kylie did just that. The passionate, overwhelming response from her showcase has fueled this young artist to create the most confident, emotional and unapologetic music possible. Nelson just released her Debut 5-Song  EP, SOLD OUT her Release Show at Barboza in Seattle and is planning to tour.
